Mission and vision

The mission of the Estacion de Salud program is to improve access to primary and preventive health services, to increase health insurance coverage and to promote a culture of preventive health care among Salvadorians and their families living in the United States by providing information, education, counseling and quality referrals in a safe and friendly environment through local health agencies

The vision of the Estacion de Salud Program is to improve the physical and mental health of Salvadorians and their families living in the United States by:

• Increasing access to primary and preventive health services
• Increasing health insurance coverage
• Increasing the supply and quality of culturally sensitive services
• Reducing the use of emergency services
